SCORPIO September 2020 Monthly Horoscope

Retrograde activity reaches its maximum level once again; between the 9th and the 12th of September 2020,  60 per cent of the planets are retrograde. Life moves slowly. There is more gridlock personally and in the world at large. (Babies born during this period will have many internal issues to work out as they grow up and will tend to be ‘late bloomers’.) This is a period for learning patience. If there is something positive that can be done, do it. If not, work on your issues in a spiritual way. Worldly doors seem closed but the spiritual doors are always open – especially from the 22nd onwards. 

With so many planets retrograde the cosmos is calling all of us to be more perfect in all that we do. Avoid short cuts. Do things right. This won’t stop delays, but will minimize them. 

Your love planet Venus moves into your 10th house on the 6th of September 2020. Generally this is good for love, signalling that it is high on your priorities. Also, any planet at the top of your chart is going to operate more powerfully than usual. So your social grace is stronger than usual and you advance your career by social means. 

Likeability is perhaps more important than professional skills. The spouse, partner or current love seems very successful and is helpful in your career. Much of your socializing this month is career-related. Singles are attracted to people of power and prestige – and are having romantic opportunities with these kinds of people. The danger here is being involved in a relationship of convenience rather than of true love. This is the aspect of the office romance – romantic opportunities with bosses or superiors. Getting the family to accept your love seems a challenge. 

Jupiter, your financial planet, will start moving forward on the 13th of September 2020, which is a great plus for your finances. There is more clarity here now. Moreover, Jupiter receive very positive aspects until the 22nd so there is prosperity this month. Prosperity will happen even after the 22nd but there is more challenge involved. You’ll have to work harder for your earnings than usual. 

The month ahead of September 2020 is quite spiritual in nature – a good thing with all these retrogrades. On the 22nd the Sun moves into your spiritual 12th house (joining Mercury, there from the 5th onwards). So you can further your career through involvement with charities and altruistic activities. Spirit is guiding the career through dreams, hunches and, perhaps, through psychics, tarot readers, astrologers or spiritual channels. Another way to read this is that your spiritual growth and practice is the career – the actual mission this period.
